You may be fortunate enough to see wallabies, kangaroos and lyre birds all in their natural habitat. Take walks; feed the rosellas, king parrots and cockatoos. Just a short scenic drive will take you to puffing billy steam train, sky high observatory and maze, and the yarra valley wine region or you can simply enjoy the natural surroundings of the national state forest. The cottage is ideally located between the beautiful villages of olinda and mt dandenong, restaurants, cafes, so you are close to everything but away from it all. The villages are famous for fabulous boutique shops, antiques and much more. The interior is modern, elegant and comfortable. From the outside, the cottage is enchanting. Wild orchid is close to everything, yet away from it all. The ideal place to escape the real world.
